The Risk (# 1)
Short and completely addictive series…….Blink and you are hooked!
🖤 The Premise
We follow Lana Myers (aka Victoria Evans), a woman with a brutal past and a very personal revenge list, and Logan Bennett, an FBI profiler chasing some of the worst serial killers out there. Lana is methodically eliminating the men who wronged her… while Logan is unknowingly falling for a killer who shares his bed at night. Yeah. That kind of tension.
🔥 The Vibes
Think Criminal Minds meets dark romance. Morally gray FMC, golden-boy FBI MMC, murder mystery, obsession, and constant “oh god she’s about to get caught” anxiety.
“The weak get revenge. The strong forgive. The intelligent ignore.
Fuck that. Einstein wasn’t always right.
Revenge is a dish best served cold… Now that I agree with. It means they forget you’re coming for them, and their screams sound so much prettier when the time finally comes.”
😮💨 The Ending
Massive cliffhanger. No closure. Immediate need for book two.
💭 Final Thoughts
Dark, twisted, thrilling, and wildly addicting. If you love female serial killers, forbidden romance, and nonstop suspense — this series will ruin you in the best way.
Sidetracked (#2)
💥 That Ending Though…
I saw it coming. I knew it was coming. And it still absolutely wrecked me. What. A. Cliffhanger.
🧠 Plot Over Romance (And I’m Not Mad About It)
This book pulls way back on the romance and goes full throttle on the plot — and honestly, it works. The suspense is nonstop, the pacing is tight, and I was on edge the entire time. Dark, twisted, and wildly addicting.
🔀 Two Stories, One Inevitable Collision
We’re following Logan deep in FBI mode chasing the Boogeyman, while Lana continues her vigilante mission behind the scenes. Two separate paths, one dangerous middle ground — and you can feel the collision coming. The way Lana’s past is slowly peeled back? Chef’s kiss.
“It’s sad that I want to hide my bodies now so that my boyfriend gets a break and can spend more time with me.”
👑 Lana. Icon. Legend. Problem.
I said what I said. Lana is the moment. Calculated, brutal, emotional, and brilliant. Watching her juggle love, lies, and murder is equal parts terrifying and intoxicating.
“I want to tell him he’s too good for me. I want to beg him to save my soul from damnation. I want to plead with some powers above to take away the pain that drives me… To let karma step in and handle the rest. But I’m the only reckoning there will be.”
🖤 Final Thoughts
Sidetracked somehow topped book one. The writing is sharp, the tension is relentless, and the story just keeps tightening the noose. I’m obsessed, slightly unwell, and fully prepared to jump headfirst into book three. 🖤
Scarlet Angel (#3)
👑 Bad Bitch Era: ACTIVATED
Lana Myers is no longer hiding, shrinking, or holding back. This book fully unleashes the woman she’s been building for the last ten years — mentally lethal, physically capable, and confident as hell. She doesn’t take shit, she ends it. Lana is the FMC we all secretly want to be but legally cannot. Icon behavior only.
I’m back, motherfuckers,” I say quietly as we pass the town hall. “And I’m going to make your life hell before I paint your town red.”
🧠 Serial Killer vs Serial Killer
This book opens swinging — literally. The Boogeyman comes for Lana, and what follows is unhinged, brutal, and had me glued to the page. Add Hadley’s POV into the mix and suddenly Lana’s secret isn’t so secret anymore… the tension was suffocating.
🔥 Plot Gets DARKER
Corruption, cover-ups, biblical warnings, town-wide chaos — Delaney Grove is rotting from the inside out, and Lana + Jake are pulling every string. Watching the FBI circle closer while Lana operates right under Logan’s nose? Anxiety-inducing in the best way.
🖤 Love, Loyalty & Lines She Won’t Cross
For all her darkness, Lana still has a moral compass — she protects the innocent, loves fiercely, and would burn the world to keep Logan safe. Their relationship deepens here, raising the stakes even higher because if she’s caught? Everything burns.
It’s everything I need and more. He’s everything I wish I could be. A hero. A hero loved by a monster.
💭 Final Thoughts
This might be my favorite book in the series so far. Darker, smarter, more intense — and Lana? Untouchable. The plot keeps tightening, the cliffhanger wrecked me (again), and I am fully Team Lana until the end of time. This series just keeps getting better… and I am not okay. 🖤✨
All The Lies (#4)
Four books in and wow… this series truly earns its name. My mind? Completely f*cked.
🩸 Welcome Back to Delaney Grove
On the surface, Delaney Grove screams small-town charm. Underneath? Corruption, cover-ups, and a decade-old injustice tied to the brutal death of Robert Evans. The rot runs deep — and the bodies are stacking up.
🔪 The Scarlet Slayer Closes In
Logan is hot on the trail of the Scarlet Slayer, unaware he’s walking straight into Lana’s carefully planned revenge tour. As the FBI digs deeper, the truth about the sheriff, his son Kyle, and the town’s dirty secrets start clawing their way out.
🖤 Lana’s Revenge Era
Lana (aka Victoria Evans) is done waiting. With Jake fully stepping into the spotlight, names get crossed off fast — and violently. Honestly? After learning what these men did, I was rooting for her hard.
“I’m Victoria Evans. The daughter of the man you killed. The sister to the boy you let die. The victim you turned into a monster. And I’m going to fucking kill you all.”
💔 Love, Lies & One Brutal Reveal
When Logan finally uncovers Lana’s true identity, everything detonates — betrayal, passion, handcuffs, heartbreak. Lana escapes shattered, colder than ever, and we’re left staring down a soul-crushing cliffhanger.
I thought love would rip my heart out. I thought it would set me on fire. Instead, it turned me into ice.
✨ Good Girl Final Thoughts
Dark. Violent. Emotionally devastating. I could not stop reading. Lana is fierce, the writing hits hard, and the ending broke me. One book left… and I’m scared, excited, and absolutely diving in. This series is pure addiction. 🖤🔥
Paint It All Red (Finale #5)
🔥 Final Ride Energy
I devoured this entire series, but Paint It All Red? Whew. I went in with low expectations because the books are short—and wow was I wrong. The depth, emotion, and twists packed into this series are unreal. I flew from book to book and couldn’t stop.
💔 All the Feels
This final installment broke me. I cried, I gasped, and I sat there afterward just… processing. Finding out who the original killer was? Completely blindsided. I thought I had it figured out. I absolutely did not.
“He doesn’t love me like I love him,” I say hoarsely. “I love him enough to burn the world to the ground in his name.”
🖤 Lana, Logan & Jake Forever
Lana is officially one of my top female leads of all time—strong, ruthless, and heartbreaking. Her bond with Jake is pure ride-or-die perfection, and Logan? Tested, shaken, but still so damn good.
“You’re good, Logan,” Lana says quietly, “It’s the thing I love most about you. Do whatever you feel is right. Don’t worry about me. I’ll be okay.”
🎯 Final Thoughts
This ending was perfect. I couldn’t have handled anything else. Dark, emotional, unforgettable. This series will live rent-free in my head forever.
Highly recommend—just check those trigger warnings first.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️️ 4/5 from this “Good Girl”
