Review: The Fae Princes by Nikki St. Crowe

Review: The Fae Princes by Nikki St. Crowe

🧚‍♀️ Tinker Bell… Oh, I Hate You

Let’s start here: Tinker Bell.
Girl. No. Absolutely not.
You are the worst. THE WORST.

And yet… here we are. Book four, the final stop in our dark, chaotic Neverland journey, picking up right where book three left off—with Tink very much alive and Peter Pan very much shook.

👑 Balls, Wings & Fae Politics

The crew is invited to a palace ball (because of course), and Bash and Kas are teased with rejoining the royal fae fold—and possibly getting their wings back. There’s a lot of power shifting, political maneuvering, and fae drama, and while this book is shorter, it leans heavier into world-building over smut.

And honestly? I didn’t hate that.

🖤 Winnie, Vane & That Shared Shadow

We get more insight into the shared shadow between Winnie and Vane, though I’ll be honest—it felt like their relationship took a tiny step backward emotionally. There were fewer feelings and more “endgame positioning,” if that makes sense. That said, the sweet moments we did get? Melted me. And then it was over. Rude.

“I can feel your love like a million golden stars in the endless abyss that is me.”

🐊 ROC STOLE THE SHOW

Can we talk about Roc for a second??
Who knew the Crocodile would be insightful, layered, and quietly fascinating? Because WOW. And that epilogue?? I am already emotionally preparing myself for Devourer of Men. Hook + Roc? I’m sat. I’m ready. I’m unwell.

“Apparently us Darlings have a thing for morally grey assholes with rock-hard abs and cunning good looks.”

🔥 Less Smut, More Closure

This book is definitely less spicy than the earlier ones, but it makes up for it with resolution. The main conflict is addressed, character arcs (especially Winnie’s) get real closure, and the series ends in a way that feels earned—not sugary, not perfect, but right for these morally gray characters.

Would I have read 100 more pages? Absolutely.
Did I still feel satisfied? Yes.

🖤 Final Good Girl Thoughts

This may not have been the strongest book in the series, but it was a solid, emotionally grounded ending to a wildly entertaining ride. Neverland wrapped up, the future clearly set, and the next story already calling my name.

I’ll miss Pan, Vane, Bash, Kas, and Winnie—but I’m more than ready for what’s coming next.
Bring on Devourer of Men. 🐊🔥✨
